报告人简介：Gérard BOIS，教授、博士生导师、法兰西科学院骑士勋章获得者、欧洲透平机械协会（European Turbomachinery Society）创始人之一，新葡萄兼职讲座教授。Gérard BOIS教授是欧洲旋转机械领域权威专家，曾长期担任欧洲透平机械会议（ETC）大会主席，也是国际旋转机械会议组委会成员，担任近20种期刊的编委和审稿工作，其研究领域涉及离心透平机械内动静干涉引起的不稳定流动现象、诱导轮内的不稳定流动问题和离心泵快速启动模型的建立及瞬变流动研究。2015年开始，每年赴中国两个月开展科研合作研究，受到中国国家外专局资助，并授予其“高端外国专家”称号。

报告主要内容：The presentation will be devoted to research areas for which both numerical and experimental works are still needed for a better understanding on specific flow features in rotating machinery. Among these: unsteady phenomena like rotating instability and stall occurrence, rotor-stator interactions, fast start up will be presented and explained.
